Prescription request Posted on 6 Aug 2018

As you should now be aware pharmacies can no longer take requests for repeat medication, unless you are housebound or have limited mobility. Therefor patients need to request medication from the surgery. You can do this:

- Online - You will need log in details for this service which we can send to you by text, email or you can collect in person.

- in person - by completing the repeat slip on your prescription and putting in the black post box in reception.

Please note we will no longer be taking requests over the desk, slips must be put in the box provided. We do not take requests for medication over the phone.

Repeat requests take 48 hours to process, non repeat items take 1 week to process and hospital request can take 2 weeks to process as we require the clinical letter.

When requesting non repeat or hospital requests you must complete a slip at reception, we require a hospital clinical letter detailing the medication in order for us to process your request, so please attach this along with your request.

We hope this is clear but, if unsure please spreak to one of the receptionists.
